Building 'The Lodge' - Our Journey
We never thought this day would come but finally our land is 'scraped and pegged' and the house-build is officially commencing on Tuesday 7th October 2008. We hope you will join us throughout our first house-build project... exciting times ahead!
Timeline
- Week ending 20th February 2009 - stairs in, kitchen cupboards in, spa baths and bathroom cupboards in!
- * Week ending 15th February 2009 - locked out!
- * Week ending 6th February 2009 - insulation, air-conditioning, ceilings & gyprock
- * Week ending 30th January 2009 - back roof on
- * Week ending 23rd January 2009 - scaffolding down, back roof frame on
- * Week ending 16th January 2009 - bag & paint started
- * Week ending 9th January 2009 - roof nearly done!
- * 22nd December 2008 - 20th January 2009 - Christmas/New Year Break
- * Week ending 21st December 2008 - roof trusses started
- * Week ending 12th December 2008 - brickwork almost finished
- * Week ending 5th December 2008 - more brickwork done
- * Week ending 28th November 2008 - scaffolding up
- * Week beginning 17th November 2008 - brickwork started
- * Week ending 14th November 2008 - windows, plumbing & gas in
- * Week ending 24th October 2008 - bottom half of frame complete
- * Week ending 10th October 2008 - slab poured
- * Week beginning 6th October 2008 - build due to commence
- * Week beginning 29th September 2008 - land scraped and pegged

Hi Adam and Rosie
I finally found the right website. Love all the photos, it's so exciting for you both now they have actually started the build. We shall look forward to seeing more photos on a regular basis and really look forward to seeing the finished article in the flesh as it were.
